The Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), represented by Dr. Pasakorn Prathombutr, Special Expert, in collaboration with King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Rangsit City Municipality, and Siam Inno City Co., Ltd., officially launched the “Smart Livable City Management Executive Program toward High-Performance Local Government Organizations (Smart City Data Officers: SCDO), Class 5.” The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Pongsathorn Kanjanajitra, Deputy Governor of Pathum Thani Province. The program welcomed participants from over 20 local government organizations across Thailand, along with representatives from the private sector and academia, totaling more than 50 participants receiving skill enhancement through this course.
SCDO Class 5 delivers an intensive and immersive learning experience from day one:
• Gaining insights, visions, and hands-on tools from eight top national experts throughout the day
• Acquiring frameworks and techniques that can be immediately applied to elevate organizations
toward becoming High-Performance Local Authorities (HPA)
• Learning practical applications of AI, data-driven approaches, Digital Twin technology,
Mission Model Canvas, and Citizen CRM for tangible smart city development
• Building a nationwide network of smart city executives, supported by mentors from depa,
King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Rangsit City Municipality, and
Siam Inno City Co., Ltd., who continue to provide guidance beyond the program
The highlight of the first day featured a keynote address and special lecture by
Mr. Pongsathorn Kanjanajitra, Deputy Governor of Pathum Thani Province, on
“Integrating Provincial-Level Smart Livable City Development Plans,”
followed by intensive sessions from distinguished national speakers:
