depa Transforms Cities Through Data! The Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), led by Mr. Pitchakorn Watcharanurak, Assistant Director of Digital Platform and Services Promotion, together with his team, organized a discussion forum titled “City Data Platform: Showcasing Thailand’s Leading National City Data Platforms” at the Thailand Smart City Expo 2025, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
The forum brought together leading speakers from both the public and private sectors, including:
• Mr. Chumphon Loekbangphlat (Head of Urban Data Division, BMA)
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tharawut Boonluea (Head of RDSC, Mahasarakham University)
• Ms. Kalyanee Pornpattanakulthon (Director, ESRI Thailand)
• Mr. Attaporn Kaewngam (Data Business Manager, AIS)
The discussion aimed to present progress in the development of City Data Platforms and to share successful case studies from leading cities that have effectively integrated data from both public and private sectors—such as transportation, public safety, and environmental data.
