The Research and Development for Smart City Unit (RDSC), Faculty of Architecture, Urban Design and Creative Arts, Mahasarakham University, presented the progress on the development of the “Smart City Master Plan and City Data Platform (CDP)” under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wirasak Hadda.
The Mayor of Khlong Sam Subdistrict Administrative Organization (SAO) and the President of the Association of Subdistrict Administrative Organizations of Thailand delivered the vision titled “Khlong Sam SAO: A Livable City with Efficient Transportation and Sustainable Environment through a Smart Government Administration Model,” together with the executive team and the Smart City working group of Khlong Sam SAO. The session also included the exchange of ideas and constructive recommendations to further enhance the city data system toward sustainable local governance.
This initiative marks a significant step in integrating academic knowledge into the development of smart cities at the local level, aiming to establish a “Smart City” model for local administrative organizations that responds to people’s quality of life and environmental sustainability in the future.
