The Research and Development Unit for Smart Cities (RDSC),
Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Creative Arts, Mahasarakham University,
presented the progress in developing the “Smart City Plan and City Data Platform (CDP).”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wirasak Hadda,
Mayor of Khlong Sam Subdistrict Administrative Organization and President of the Association of Subdistrict Administrative Organizations of Thailand,
presented the vision: “Khlong Sam Subdistrict Administrative Organization: A livable city with convenient transportation and a sustainable environment, through a model of smart government administration.”
The event was also attended by the executive committee and the Smart City working group of Khlong Sam Subdistrict Administrative Organization.
Participants exchanged ideas and provided suggestions for developing the city data system towards sustainable local management.
🌱 A significant step in integrating academic knowledge into the development of smart cities at the local level, creating a model “Smart City” for local administrative organizations that addresses the needs of people's lives and the environment in the future.
